Israel Harel's latest book "Becoming God's Messenger - Devotions from the Prophet Malachi"
'Well done, good and faithful servant' (Matt. 25:21) are the words that every lover of Jesus the Messiah is hoping to hear on that day when we stand before Him. The book of Malachi, the last book of the OT, teaches us how to be faithful messengers in the service of God. This book will help the reader understand our mission better, focus our hearts on the motive for our mission, uncover the pitfalls that stand in our way and equip us to be a better messenger carrying God's message of love in a clearer way. This book is translated from Hebrew.

"Enter The Rest" Summary
Israel Harel casts a completely new light on the New Testament book of Hebrews that will educate even the most seasoned Christ follower. The author explores the backdrop of Jewish culture and concerns into which the Epistle to the Hebrews was written, unpacking the references to Jewish history to help the modern reader (Jew or Gentile) better understand what Jesus has done for each of us. He explores the questions and difficulties addressed in the epistle, while discussing long-standing trends in Judaism and how Jesus fulfills Biblical Judaism and transcends Rabbinical Judaism. Through these discussions, one theme comes through loud and clear: the Epistle to the Hebrews is a strong call to intimacy with God in the Holy of Holies. It is a call to enter into the Sabbath rest of God, into the place where He is all in all. John Pex Pastor of Eilat congregation in Israel recommends Enter the Rest: |

The book is of excellent academic standard while remaining entirely approachable to everyone. The Letter to the Hebrews is challenging to the Jewish community and Harel has truly captured the essence of these challenges and personalized them for us. The quality of this valuable addition to our libraries speaks for itself, both in content and style. It should not however remain in our libraries but be a ‘gift’ we can be proud to present to our friends and neighbors as a tool that speaks to the heart.” |
